More RSS Feeds
We added RSS feeds for any and all searches today. Using RSS, you can monitor any category and region for the items that you're interested in.
For example if you're interested in pets, you can go to the results page: http://pets.localadpages.com/search/results.aspx?subCat=Dogs and type in your zip code, (ex. 76011). From there, you can click on the "Get These Results in RSS" link and that's it. You can now use this feed to monitor pets in the Arrlington Texas area. The same applies for any category and any region.

New Look and Feed
We've added new categories to the site, (namely Pets, Autos, Travel, Business, Adult and Activities)
At the same time, we reoganized the site so that each category has its own subdomain. The benefit of doing so is that users can enjoy a customized site based on their area of interest. At the same time, they're free to navigate across categories at anytime.
We've received some positive feedback already, and we hope that everyone enjoys the new site!!

We added a blacklist feature to protect users
We added a blacklist feature to the site to stop fraudulent people from contacting LocalAdPages.com users.
Most remost posts can be easily identified by many spelling mistakes and or promises of wired money etc.

LocalAdPages.com Is Rapidly Growing!
On June 26th of 2006, LocalAdPages.com went live across all of the United States and Canada. So far (a month later) the response has been outstanding. We've had tons of postings from over 50 cities, in at least 20 states and provinces.

- view counts added to each posting
- improved search results
- the ability to browse all postings, (as opposed to searching)
